  35. Well, I'm not too happy at the moment.  I bought a Bocaram/AT with 2M
  36. to be used as expanded (not extended) memory for my 286 clone
  37. (Packard-Bell), so I could improve the performance of pc/geos without a
  38. lot of money to upgrade.  I finally had to disable the thing because I
  39. was getting lock ups!  Now that I'm back to 640K, it doesn't lock up.
  40. (Thanks to all who helped me isolate this problem.)  Has anyone else
  41. had AT machines with expanded memory lock up or corrupt data stored in
  42. memory?  By-the-by, it passed it's memory test.

  44. Now, what?  Does Geoworks have a place that I could call and ask, "Do you
  45. have problems with x and y running pc/geos?"  AOL and a call that got to
  46. a person at Geoworks helped me, but it seems that the problem is not very
  47. well documented.  I like pc/geos.  It's the only GUI my wife can use
  48. (take that Windows!) and my kids like it.  Should I try running as
  49. extended memory?  Thanks.
