  32. Those files are temporary work files the program uses while it is
  33. running.  Normally, they are deleted when you exit the program.  If,
  34. however, you exit the program abnormally by rebooting or turning off
  35. your machine, those files are not deleted.  Then, when you start the
  36. program again, it will create another set of temporary files.  This
  37. can lead to a vicious cycle leading to quickly disappearing hard disk
  38. space...believe me, I know.  Good luck!
