  10. I had success with booting linux-0.99 (in fact running it now).

  12. I had to do make clean; make config; make dep; make disk MORE THAN ONCE
  13. to get it to work.  Michael Johnson said the problem is with FPU
  14. emulations.  I "know" I answered yes every time I did a make config!!!

  16. BTW: The default in the configure script SHOULD BE y vice n for
  17. FPU emulation.  My reasoning: if you have a 486 or 386/387 no harm is done.
  18. If you have a 386 without a 387 then the present default will not build
  19. a working system.
