- The troubles with .99 seem mostly to be due to the fact that SLS had
- two .99 releases, within one day of each other.

- The first release didn't have the two line patch, Linus subsequently
- posted. What is amazing is how many people that downloaded the old
- one. So let me repeat my plea:

- If you are even the slightest bit cautious, wait at least a week
- before downloading SLS after an upgrade. Just check the date
- on the HISTORY file, and if it is at least a week old, you should
- be ok.

- SLS does not have a beta/alpha test group. It is just to large. And
- due to my retooling my system to gcc 2.3/libc.4.2/Interviews, I was
- not able to test install the first .99 release.

- In short, the upgrade to .99 should be ok now.
