  13. I am always amazed at what continues to pour into the Linux pool,
  14. at the expenses of many dedicated programmers and administrators,
  15. to the benefit of ourselves, and all free!

  17. However, I seem to increasingly dread reading comp.os.linux because
  18. of all the traffic, knowing that unless I read it continuously, I will
  19. have to spend a good hour or two scanning through the titles, and
  20. picking what looks relevant to what I'm interested in.  If every one
  21. of us is doing the same, then there must be an easy way to fix this 
  22. problem.

  24. Since comp.os.linux.announce is just cross-posted to comp.os.linux,
  25. it doesn't help to reduce the traffic.  If we had comp.os.linux.xxx's
  26. around, it would.
