- LA> Anyone worked/working on power management for notebooks?
-
- I'm presently working on a driver for the Western Digital WD7600 chip
- set. It will allow you to use the serial ports you think are 16450's,
- as 16550A's, allow you to power up and down the various components, and
- provide automatic speed-switching and context saves. Hopefully it will
- do just about everything you could possibly want.
-
- I know the CompuAdd Express 425cxl uses this chipset, and would
- appreciate anyone else whose machine uses it (look at the BIOS setup
- screens) letting me know, so I can compile a list.
-
- Also, volunteers for pre-alpha testing would be appreciated.
