  10. Hello,

  12. I have installed the newest SLS disks (A, B, C) onto my system.  I put
  13. it (Linux) on /dev/hdb and it seems to have installed correctly.  It 
  14. wrote the boot disk and all!  But now when I try to boot it, it 
  15. initalizes all the way to the floppy drive line (it is recognized) 
  16. then it just hangs there and doesn't get to recognizing the HDs.  
  17. The A1 disk recognized them, obviously.

  19. What needs to be done next.  I have done the installation twice now,
  20. redoing the FDISK and mkfs each time.  I have even tried to change the
  21. Bootimage with norton's diskedit to change offset 508 as listed in the
  22. documentation.

  24. 386sx 20Mhz, 6.5mg RAM
  25. 2 X 42 Meg HD IDE (C is DOS, D is Linux/Minix)
  26. 3.5" A Drive
  27. VGA ATI Wonder (Old)
