- Hello,
-
- I have installed the newest SLS disks (A, B, C) onto my system. I put
- it (Linux) on /dev/hdb and it seems to have installed correctly. It
- wrote the boot disk and all! But now when I try to boot it, it
- initalizes all the way to the floppy drive line (it is recognized)
- then it just hangs there and doesn't get to recognizing the HDs.
- The A1 disk recognized them, obviously.
-
- What needs to be done next. I have done the installation twice now,
- redoing the FDISK and mkfs each time. I have even tried to change the
- Bootimage with norton's diskedit to change offset 508 as listed in the
- documentation.

-
- Anyone, please help.
-
- Thanks
- michael
