- HI all,
-
- I have been playing with Linux off and on for about 6 months now.
- Starting with .96 and now .98. I like the .98 (SLS) especially the install
- routine. O.k., enough comments, now the meat....What now??? I would like to
- do the following....Have Linux running on my 486SX with XWindows. Connect it
- up to my 486DX with DesqView/x and a Motorola NCD 16 XWindows terminal and
- run software back and forth throught the three systems. Problem is, I'm just
- not sure how to go about it. I know that I have to use TCP/IP for the
- communications between the systems, but haven't got a clue where to start on
- that one either. Then I would like to setup the 486SX to get mail from
- usenet. Is this all possible, and if so how??? Are there books available
- about Linux and/or methods of accomplishing my goals?? Anyway, any help
- would be appreciated.
