  10. I installed the new 0.99 kernel and ps/w/free/top/uptime from SLS to my
  11. (then) working 0.98-5 SLS system and it gets a General Protection Error
  12. after saying the partition table is ok.  Does anyone have a clue regarding
  13. this ?

  23. The only other thing I get above this is a warning:

  26. (which is correct...I don't have an ethernet board)

  28. only other thing I can think of is that it takes a LONG time 
  29. to go through it's checks before it checks the partition tables for
  30. the two hard disks...much longer than 0.98-5 took.
