- PLEASE, everyone! There was a war on this subject five months ago which lasted
- for quite long and took up quite a lot of space in comp.os.linux . The result
- of that war was: compress is, and have been the unix standard and this is how
- it will be in the future (well, pherhaps not forever but for now at least),
- an opinion supported by 'The Important People', the sysadmins at the ftp-sites.
- I kindly ask everyone not to start a war again. The volume on comp.os.linux
- is high as it is.
