- Trust me (us?) - its going places. If you dont want to try something
- without a guarantee, then try a different planet, or a microsoft product.
- With MicroShaft, you get all kinds of promises, but we wont start with that, now
- will we :)
-
- As an example of where its going: I have been trying to build InterViews (and doc)
- on a dec 5000 at work - with much frustration. Old compiler, stuffy admin, etc.
- While I could compile doc for linux, its been done long before I started trying -
- so why should I? I post a question to this group, and I get a flood of responses for
- a few days (depending on question) and a trickle for two weeks. Better support than
- I've gotten with any commercial software. Thanks everyone, and keep up the great work!
-
- If people are waiting for some kind of assurances about Linux, about the only thing
- that might be worth waiting for is some better documentation, which I've read
- is under way. The readmes aren't that bad though. Give it a try!
