  11. Hi.  I've been trying to port gnuplot to Linux.  Everything was compiling
  12. nicely until the very end, when the Makefile tried to compile the file
  13. plot.c with the directive -lplot.
  14.  
  15. I searched my whole hard drive, and could not find the file "libplot.a"
  16. Does anyone know what directive I should use?  I'm using makefile.unx.
