  28. I, too, am having problems very similar to what was described.  I'm
  29. still using 0.98 pl 5 kernel because of this.  I did the standard
  30. build procedure.  Luckily, I tried the new kernel on floppy instead of
  31. installing it as /vmlinux.  Can someone out there help us out?  Many
  32. thanks.

  34. BTW, I'm using mostly SLS binary distribution.
