  24. Only if he wants to run in color, or wants to run using clocks other than
  25. 25MHz and 28MHz, or if he wants the server to take advantage of the accelerated
  26. capabilities of the video card.  He can run the generic vga2 server in
  27. 640x480 without too much trouble directly on the F1280.  He cannot however
  28. run the vga256 server.  For that he nedds the X386-S3 driver that you mentioned.
