  13. Based on the alpha NE/2000 (et al) code from Donald Becker and a long,
  14. hard stare at the Crynwr HPPCLAN packet driver, I have constructed an
  15. Ethernet driver for HP cards.

  17. I have, of course, only tested it on my machine--a Vectra 486 with a HP
  18. 27250 ThinLAN card.  It works, though I'm not terribly impressed with
  19. the throughput.
