  15. I have it solved too, sort of. after seeing a number successes of people using
  16. the canned printcap file (minus the 'of' field). I decided to go down to
  17. Fry's and spent $1.99 for a parallel printer cable for my LaserJet IIIP (it
  18. has both paralle and serial interfaces) and use the original printcap entry 
  19. for lp as well. and... it works! So, there must be some problem with my
  20. printcap entry for using my Laserjet in serial mode. Coould anyone
  21. tell me if there's anything wrong with this please ?
