- I have it solved too, sort of. after seeing a number successes of people using
- the canned printcap file (minus the 'of' field). I decided to go down to
- Fry's and spent $1.99 for a parallel printer cable for my LaserJet IIIP (it
- has both paralle and serial interfaces) and use the original printcap entry
- for lp as well. and... it works! So, there must be some problem with my
- printcap entry for using my Laserjet in serial mode. Coould anyone
