  12. Hi, being all excited about 0.99 I thought I would give it a try.
  13. I am not a guru, but have successfully built 0.98.6, inserted tcpip
  14. code and 3c503 drivers etc and can read a FAQ.

  16. Version 0.99 builds without a warning (I have everything turned on).

  18. When it boots it goes through to the stage of saying partition tables
  19. ok and then dies with a 'kernal cannot execute paging request at....'

  21. The only stuff I have added to the kernel is the 3c503 driver and
  22. the card seems to be detected ok, much earlier in the boot sequence.

  24. I can't see anything that might be screwing it up. (I am booting of a
  25. floppy so that lilo can't be getting in the way).

  27. I recompiled with almost everything turned off with exactly the same effect,
  28. except that the kernel was smaller.

  30. Any suggestions, is this a FAQ, or generally useful information would be
  31. much appreciated.
