- I've just installed SLS on a TI Travelmate 3000 WinSX. It works, but I've not
- yet gotten X to work.
-
- The TI3000 (and 4000) use BIOS calls to switch from LCD (standard VGA) to
- external monitor (512K Paradise -- WD 90C20 chipset). I used MS-DOS debug
- to figure out TI's ALTVID.EXE program, and then used it again to add the
- switch to Linux Boot. If any Travelmate users want my mod, send me e-mail.
-
- I've yet to get X to work -- either mono or color. With color, at least, I
- see the screen "ramp-up" to blue, though the sync is all screwed up. And,
- it's screwed up using the standard VESA 640x480x256.
-
- Has anybody gotten a Paradise Plus or other non-pro board to work with X?
