- After several nights i finally decided to ask the netpeople for help. My
- configuration is a 486DX,105MB HD,8MB RAM, paradise card(512k) and -
- a regular fixed-frequency-monitor, capable of 640x480, 800x600 and in
- interlaced mode 1024x768. Trying to start X in any mode worked, but the
- feedback was rather poor... my screen went completely out of sync. After
- gambling with clock.exe, timings.exe and the res script from the X386 kit
- i am wondering whwther any helping soul out there is willing to mail me his/
- her Xconfig for a non-multisync-monitor. The first mails reaching me will be
- awarded by several cans of virtual beer!
-
- Thanx in progress,
- Bernhard
-
- P.s.:
- Monitor specs are
- 640 x 480 at 60 Hz, horiz. freq. 31.5kHz
- 800 x 600 at 56 Hz, horiz. freq. 35.2kHz
- 1024x 768 at 87?Hz, horiz. freq. 35.5kHz
-
- Please help, i`m just a poor compsci student and cant afford a multisync!
