- I posted this question a week ago, but I'm missing it in the news list
- and therefore I put it again.
-
- I tried to recompile X11R5 with XFree-1.1 patch to enable PEX. Now I have
- a libphigs.a and all PEX-Demos may run under Linux if the output is
- redirected to a Sun. I also got a new X386, but this server is not able
- to find the default PEX font Roman_M. Is there anyone around who got
- PEX running under Linux with output on the local screen?
-
- I could not compile the PEX fonts under Linux because to_wfont breaks
- with a float exception. I just took the PEX fonts from a Sun hoping
- the output is what even Linux would create if to_wfont could work
- under Linux.
-
- Besides, if you are interested in graphics, xgks is running well under
- Linux. It does not compile out of the box, but only minor changes are
- needed to use xgks with it's C language binding.
-
- If you know how to get PEX running or if you are interested in xgks
- please send mail to
