- Yes, the volume on comp.os.linux is high. And splits have been
- proposed numerous times. We even had a vote on splitting. All we voted
- thru was the creation of comp.os.linux.announce (bug your admin if you
- haven't gotten it yet). According to the usenet guidelines we will
- have to wait 6 months (yeah, I think it was 6 months) before the next
- split vote, so there us no use in proposing splits and complaining
- about volume until then...

- In the meantime I have put this in my c.o.l kill file: "/[Ss]plit/:j",
- you can do that too! And use the kill/junk features of your news
- reader liberaly, you don't have to read _all_ that passes thru c.o.l.
