  11.     I posted a few days ago about a problem I was having with
  12. the X distribution in SLS .98pl5.  I have installed the 
  13. entire SLS dist, with Xfree861.0 and the correct Xconfig for
  14. a trident SVGA.  The Xserver hangs right after it switches into
  15. the graphics mode.  I worked on trying to debug this problem
  16. for quite some time.  I upgraded the Xfree86 to 1.1 and still
  17. had the same problem.  
  18.     Just for the fun of it, I got the 0.98 bootimage
  19. and booted it.  X ran fine.  It seems that the X worked under
  20. .98pl0, but not under .98pl5.  Under both, I ran X with the -pn
  21. option.  It appears this is a problem with the PL5.  I will try
  22. .99 tonight and see what I get.
