  25. I also have a printer on /dev/lp1 which fits the description above.  
  26. My princap follows.  I can do 'cat file > /dev/lp1 &' just fine...
  27. lpr puts a file  in the queue, but it never goes.  lpd is running,
  28. lpc cannot force the file to go to the printer.
