- The latest upgrade of SLS is up on tsx-11 (except for b5/smail.taz, which
- I uploaded to sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/Incoming/smail.taz, because
- tsx-11 ran out of space again). Except for adding the afm fonts for
- doc to the 'x' series, all the changes are in the 'b' series.
-
- The main additions, are mailpak (thanks to Vince S.) and the ghostscript
- and afm fonts. I was really against bulking up SLS with Megs worth of
- fonts, but now that it is done, you can finally do WYSIWYG composition
- using SLS (X11, Ghostscript, Idraw and Doc).
-
- As usual, I reorganized, so some packages got moved to different disks.
- This is a hazard of trying to keep the distribution floppy based.
- This time however, I documented the moves and deletes in the HISTORY file
- which follows.

- It looks worse than it is, because I explicitly indicate when I moved
- something ([mv] to dest) and when I deleted something ([rm]). I will
- be following this convention rigorously in the future, so it should
- even be possible to use a script or program to do the updates for
- you, depending where you are.
-
- The next update will probably be in the next few days, but will just be
- the kernel upgrade to .99, as I am anxious to rid SLS of a patched kernel.
- Also, we could be seeing a new version of Doc, and hopefully the rest of
- the Interviews package, after shared jump libs are generated for X and IV.
- After that, SLS will stop adding new features, and concentrate on fleshing
- out what is there, and making it better.
