- I've asked a number of questions on comp.os.linux and almost always get
- replies/answers back by mail. I think this is good in order to keep the
- number of news articles to a manageable level. However, once "the
- answer" has been tested and proven to work, I think that the person who
- asked the original question should post "the answer" to the news group.
- This would, hopefully, prevent others from asking the same question over
- and over and would further reduce the volume in comp.os.linux.
