  11. I remember seeing a large number of posts some time ago on X not restoring 
  12. text mode when it quits. Since I had yet to get X to work at that time, I
  13. (foolishly) ignored them. Now I've got exactly that problem.

  15. Could someone please tell me what I can do, if anything, to fix this 
  16. problem?
