- Greetings. My setup: 486D/25, 16MB/10MB swap, ET4000, SLS 98.5-49,
- on a 40MB "/", 50MB "/usr" IDE partitions off an IDE drive.
-
- The problem: 1) bring up InterViews Drawing Editor
- 2) Select any FONT
- 3) Select TEXT function and enter "test" on screen
- 4) Click on "Zoom out" a few times... WAM!
- 5) HD light goes on for solid 15 seconds and I get
- a 3MB core dump.
-
- I "discovered" this feature just after finishing a big page (nope,
- didn't save) and just wanted to see what it looked like zoomed
- out.... [sniff.. sniff..]
-
- Other than that (which might be due to my stupidity - wouldn't be
- the first time :-) GREAT JOB!!!
-
- Take care.
-
- P.S. I have a small [Q]: Does Linux still use only 16MB of physical
- RAM (I seem to remember reading about this somewhere) no matter how
- much anyone has? If not, what's the maximum? (I can have up to 64MB
- on my board [evil smile]) Also, does it make any sense to have 10MB
- swap with 16MB (or more) of RAM? Please put this in the FAQ (I don't
- think I saw it there...)
