  14.     I installed SLS 0.98p5 (min+base+x) this morning.  And with some
  15. help from my friend, we put in the lilo ver 0.7.  I have one hard drive
  16. and I partition it to 20mb DOS, 63mb linux and the rest is also for linux.
  17. lilo boots fine with ms-dos 5.0.  But when it try to boot linux, it gives
  18. me the following errors and hang the machine:
  19.     ...
  20.     ...
  21.     partition table ok
  22.     MINIX-fs: unable to read superblock
  23.     EXT-fs: unable to read superblock
  24.     MSDOS bread failed
  25.     kernel panic: Unable to mount root
  26.  
  27. That's it! It hangs there!

  29. My machine config is: 386-40 8mb ram and 116mb with trident 8900
