  21. ing with the oh-so-much-recommended -fwritable-strings flag,

  23. AND IT _STILL_ BOMBS WITH A SEGMENTATION FAULT AND DUMPS CORE!!!!!!!

  25. The software I'm using is patchlevel 6 of the kernel, gcc 2.2.2dm
  26. shared libraries 4.1 (I think; whatever came with the SLS pl5 dist.).

  28. I've traced the problem to a sigaction() call in the usset_signal()
  29. function in sys1.c (hardlinked to sys1.unx) when I run uucico through
  30. gdb.

  32. Only one other option I haven't tried; try uucico under pl5 now that I
  33. have recompiled it.
