- ok,
-
- With a lot of help, X is almost working on this card, YES! Thanks Scott.
-
- I have done the following, made sure the dir /tmp/.X11-unix exists, checked the
- paths in etc/profile (they seem ok),cp'd xserverrc and xinit to the dir / and
- used chown on them.
- I then cp'd system.twmrc to /, renamed it to .twmrc. Does this file also need
- to have the chown run on it?
- When X is fired up, a grey screen with a cross-hatch pattern happens and it
- stays. The <ctrl><alt><bkspc> sequence still doesn't kill the server.
- Can anyone share some ideas on what I might try from here?
-
- thanks,
- -frank
