  16. With a lot of help, X is almost working on this card, YES! Thanks Scott.

  18. I have done the following, made sure the dir /tmp/.X11-unix exists, checked the
  19. paths in etc/profile (they seem ok),cp'd xserverrc and xinit to the dir / and
  20. used chown on them. 
  21. I then cp'd system.twmrc to /, renamed it to .twmrc. Does this file also need 
  22. to have the chown run on it?
  23. When X is fired up, a grey screen with a cross-hatch pattern happens and it
  24. stays. The <ctrl><alt><bkspc> sequence still doesn't kill the server.
  25. Can anyone share some ideas on what I might try from here?
