- I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I'm not an X nor emacs expert.
- I tried using emacs in the vanilla SLS.98pl5 version of X and I can't seem to
- get the arrow keys to work. The arrow keys in emacs works fine when I'm not in
- X. Any suggestions as to how I can get the arrow keys to work in emacs in X?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Herbert

- PS. what is the equivalent .login file in Linux? I would like to startx as
- soon as I log in, but making a .login file doesn't seem to work.
