  13. I ran into the following problems with X lately:

  15. 1. xdvi quit working and gives me "Segmentation fault (core dumped)."

  17. 2. When trying to run the Install script for xview3, get the following
  18.    messages:

  20. Installing the openwin directory
  21. Installing header files
  22. Installing libraries:
  23. libxview.a
  24. libolgx.a
  25. Linking and installing binaries
  26. gcc -O2 -c dummyrpc.c -o dummyrpc.o
  27. dummyrpc.c: In function `svc_getreqset':
  28. dummyrpc.c:10: incompatible types in assignment
  29. gcc -o /usr/openwin/bin/olwmslave olwmslave.a -L/usr/X386/lib/X11/shlib/jump -L/usr/lib -lxview -lolgx -lXext -lX11
  30. /usr/lib/libxview.a(ndet_loop.o): Undefined symbol _svc_fdset referenced from text segment
