- You must run the X emacs binary. It should have come with your emacs
- distribution. Try doing a x11emacs & from your xterm. This should do what you
- want.

- If you are using xdm, it first looks for a .xsession in your home directory.
- If one does not exist, it uses the default Xsession in /usr/X386/lib/X11/xdm (I
- think). If you use your own .xsession, MAKE SURE YOU START THE WINDOW MANAGER
- THERE (i.e. twm &).
