- So far, I got four rather urgent "me, too" messages asking for me to post
- info on using a LINUX box on SLIP and an ethernet as a router as soon as I
- get any. I haven't got any.
-
- I assume this is because SLIP is't real solid now, if I'm understanding that
- correctly. I should have pointed out in the original post that I'm not even
- running LINUX yet. I will be soon, however, and I was trying to figure out
- what its capabilities and limitations were. So far there seem to be far more
- of the former than the latter =).
-
- If anyone sends me any hard info about running a LINUX box as a
- SLIP<->ethernet router, I'll of course summarize here on c.o.l., as well as
- to anyone who asks (my four correspondents are getting c.c.'s of this post).
-
- Thanks
- Joe
