- Hi Linuxers!
- I had hard time in using mouse in X-window since the cursor was too
- easily freezed. The hot key combo(^Alt<-) didn't work either.
- Now I have found which one is the culprit.
- 64k builtin external cache!
- After switching off the cache, Now I have no problem in using my mouse.
-
- My computer: Gateway2000 386DX with 387.
- Diamond Speedstar VGA version 3.23
- 4Mbytes RAM.
-
- Now I'm faced a new problem.
- Without the cache, the DOS and Window applications are running too slowly.
- I have heard there is a utility program that switches on/off
- cache after booting. Any suggestion?
-
- PLS send me an e-mail to seody@eecs.nwu.edu
-
- Thank you in advance.
