- having the bad taste to dislike my BOF. :-)

- A *well done* talk is better than just reading the proceedings. Not all
- talks, alas, are well done. That aside, though, you could get *most* of
- the technical content by reading the proceedings. (Personally, I do an
- initial quick pass over the proceedings to get an idea of which talks are
- worth going to, and I'm very selective about which ones I attend.) But
- the talks are not the high point of Usenix, at least not for experienced
- attendees. (How's that for an elegant way to say "old fogies"? :-))
