  26. Interesting that you would say this when as far as I can tell, no one
  27. has stone walled this publication.  Legitimate questions have been
  28. asked and as far as I can tell a reasonable compromise has been
  29. reached that addresses the problems that were raised.

  31. I find it interesting that people continue to use degrading and
  32. belittling terms when talking about unnamed people.  Calling people
  33. "small minded" and "petty" with no justification attached is sure to
  34. make the people you are talking about listen carefully to what you are
  35. trying to say. :-)  Since I suspect I am at least one if not all of
  36. the people you are referring to here, it certainly makes me want to
  37. pay attention to you. :-)

  47. This is exactly correct.  DECUS (U.S. Chapter) can not continue to
  48. "soak" the Symposium attendee and Digital certainly is in no condition
  49. to increase its support of the Society.  In fact, for those of you
  50. that have not heard, during the most recent set of Digital layoffs,
  51. the Digital/DECUS staff was reduced by 6 positions.
