- Well, I am so thoroughly disgusted with the half-assed customer "support"
- department at ZEOS that I thought I would just post each major setback
- as it comes down the pike.
-
- To recap: My roommate ordered a 486/50 upgrade (motherboard swap). He shipped
- his ZEOS computer off to Minnesota, completed the sale in 2 or 3 quick days,
- and was promised a 10-day UPS turnaround. This was on November 11.
-
- Today is December 12th. According to every person my roommate has spoken to,
- his computer "will be shipping today FedEx at no charge to you." He began
- making these inquisitive phone calls at the beginning of December. If you
- do the math, that means 12 days of his computer being "ready to ship today
- FedEx." Yesterday, after a particularly irate exchange, we got a call from
- somebody in shipping who said that the computer was on the FedEx truck and
- my roommate could expect it today, Saturday.
-
- Feeling suspicious, he called Federal Express today, not having received his
- computer.
-
- Sure enough, they have no record of the computer ever having entered their
- shipping network.
-
- I can understand a bunch of terminally stupid people somehow, by pure chance,
- ending up screwing people over in the same "support" department, but outright
- *LYING?* This is a new level--not previously reached--of pure, unadulterated
- idiocy.
-
- Again, with a buck-passing, screwed-up, utterly clueless, decidedly surly and
- absolutely mind-bogglingly *stupid* customer support staff, ZEOS International
- ought not to receive your business.
