- For the record, there's no need to make a .UUCP *zone* or registrar,
- with my "existence proof" anyway. Just whack the MX line(s) in question
- ("*.UUCP. IN MX ...") into the root zone file. Simple! :-)

- No!! Non-US hosts become the problem of the top-level country DNS admin.
- For US UUCP hosts, some belong in EDU., COM., ORG. etc. Almost all of the

- This is a valid point. It has been discussed in Australia, where the
- AU. admin Robert Elz is against a geographical domain for private sites.

- I wonder whether cooper@isi.edu et al have considered having a non-
- geographical subset of US., for instance "mobile.US." for those who
- don't want to be/aren't tied to a particular state. Just a thought.
