  12.     I have a number of users at my site who have successfully 
  13.     done ftp by connecting to westmark.stanford.edu and
  14.     decwrl.dec.com via X400. I am trying to do this with decus
  15.     uucp and keep getting "unknown addressee" .
  16.  
  17.     What sort of address translation is needed to negotiate this
  18.     request? I have tried going through uunet as well as my nearest
  19.     neighbor, gatech, and have failed. In addition I have formated
  20.     the address as westmark@stanford.edu and decwrl@... without success.

  22.     My aim is to make this type of procedure available with internet
  23.     addressing so as to eliminate the cumbersome translation needed
  24.     for X400.
