- First, I want to pass on some wisdom that Chris Seiwald gave me some
- years ago. "Reticent" doesn't mean "reluctant"; it means:
-
- ret.i.cent \-s*nt\ aj [L reticent-, reticens, prp. of retice-re to keep
- silent,]fr. re- + tace-re to be silent - more at TACIT 1: inclined to be
- silent or secretive : UNCOMMUNICATIVE 2: restrained in expression,
- presentation, or appearance - ret.i.cent.ly av
-
- Second, you can solve your single point of failure problem by using
- multiple entries in your "server:" line as John Romine suggested. It would
- be wonderous indeed if MH used MX RR's, which would let you set up an MX
- called "inet-gw" that lists your internet gateways in order of preference.
- But I think it needs those "server:" entries to have A RR's.
