  13. Is there some way, when mail has been read but is kept in the spool file, to not get
  14. a "you have mail" message (unless there are also unread messages in the spool) when
  15. you login?

  17. Many people keep read mail in there spool file and are constantly bombarded with these messages. We are running Sun Sparc 2 and 4.1.3 SonOS and are using Elm 2.4 PL13.
