- Obviously this is a LOW priority item. One of the things that I always
- wind up doing on my systems which are running elm is to 1) change the
- default_printout string to be "cat %s | mp | lpr -Psmurf" (on the BSD
- boxes) and "cat %s | mp | lp -dsmurf" (where smurf is a LPS-20
- Postscript networked printer); and 2) prepend a "." to the name of all
- of the "temp_*" files (to hide them from the casual /tmp cruisers).
- Both of these are done in hdrs/sysdefs.h after completing a Configure
- run. Although it is not a major hassle, it seems like it is something
- that could be handled in the Configure script, at some future patch
- level.
-
- Meanwhile, thanks for the continued excellent support we all enjoy.
