- Hi, 2.4PL17 doesn't seem to want to do what I have been doing for years
- and was doing with PL13. This is:
-
- If I get a mail bounce or whatever and I realise the mistake and I want
- to resend the message, I used to do:
-
- f (forward)
- n (do *not* edit text)
- to (address)
- subject (whatever)
- copies to: (whatever)
-
- then instead of (s) for send, I'd (e) for edit, and I'd get the message
- I was forwarding, without the ' >' bits inserted (a feature I don't
- want to disable). Thus, with a few edits to delete the mail bounce
- header, I have my origional message safe and sound. This was quick.
-
- Now, under PL17, when I do this, it inserts the bloody ' > ' in which
- is most annoying. Is this a bug or a feature?
