- I have a line in my filter-rules file:
-
- if ( subject contains "UPDATE" ) then execute "elm -s UPDATE %r < update.txt"
-
- This SHOULD send a copy of the file update.txt to the sender of
- any mail with subject UPDATE, right? It doesn't work! Anyone know why?
-
- My objectives are:
-
- to automatically mail to any sender of mail with subject UPDATE the file
- update.txt.
- to delete that mail with subject UPDATE before it gets into my mailbox
-
- also,
- to automatically send to a whole group of people (use an alias?)
- any message with the subject MAILING-LIST
-
- Thanks in advance. I know this problem has been posed before, but I
- never saw an answer. Replies via direct email are preferable as I
- don't get a chance to check usenet too often.
-
- Thanks
