- I've got a personal database program, which stores names, addresses,
- phone numbers, etc. of various people that I know. I set it up to
- automatically construct an "aliases.text" file from its database.
-
- The problem, as might be anticipated from computer-generated lists, is
- that the number of aliases the database program constructs is often too
- much for elm to handle. Running "newalias", to parse & hash the
- "aliases.text" file, often gives an error message saying something about
- too many aliases. I can fix this my manually lopping off the end of my
- alias file, but that seems such a waste.
-
- Is there any way I set up elm to allow many more aliases (say, 10 times)
- than it currently handles?
-
- Thanks,
-
