  29. I didn't see the original question, so I hope this answer is right....

  31. Haskell is a functional language which has been developed over the last
  32. few years by an international group of people. The language spec and
  33. compiler are publically available, the main ones having been written
  34. at Yale, Glasgow & Chalmers (Sweden). The group hopes the language will
  35. become a standard in the functional world, though not everybody is
  36. enthusiastic about it (and yet I still posted this answer :-)).
