- I didn't see the original question, so I hope this answer is right....

- Haskell is a functional language which has been developed over the last
- few years by an international group of people. The language spec and
- compiler are publically available, the main ones having been written
- at Yale, Glasgow & Chalmers (Sweden). The group hopes the language will
- become a standard in the functional world, though not everybody is
- enthusiastic about it (and yet I still posted this answer :-)).
