- Greetings,
-
- I'm not a regular reader of this group,
- but I did look in the FAQ before deciding to post
- my request:
-
- I'm looking for a decent random-number
- generator in Fortran. (By 'decent' I mean one
- where a pseudo-random sequence won't repeat
- before at least 1000 samples.) This is probably
- something that real programmers learn to do before
- age 10, but I'm obviously nothing of the sort.
- Anyway, I'd appreciate it if anyone could give
- me a hint or tell me where to look.
-
- Please respond by email to:
- tregilli@s1.msi.umn.edu
- or
- treg0001@student.tc.umn.edu
-
- Many thanks in advance,
