  15.     I'm not a regular reader of this group, 
  16. but I did look in the FAQ before deciding to post
  17. my request:

  19.     I'm looking for a decent random-number 
  20. generator in Fortran. (By 'decent' I mean one 
  21. where a pseudo-random sequence won't repeat 
  22. before at least 1000 samples.)  This is probably
  23. something that real programmers learn to do before
  24. age 10, but I'm obviously nothing of the sort.
  25. Anyway, I'd appreciate it if anyone could give
  26. me a hint or tell me where to look.
