- Does anyone have any experience with the performance differences
- between different Fortran compilers on a PC/386 or 486 machine?
-
- I have a huge application that I would like to run, and to squeeze
- every ounce of performance out of it as possible. Currently,
- it is running under Microsoft Fortran 4.0, and is *extremely*
- slow, and I am hoping that by switching to a better optimizing
- compiler (if there is one), I might gain some performance.
-
- I would appreciate it, if you would please respond to me by
- E-mail, as I don't normally read this newsgroup. IF there is
- interest, I will summarize the responses and post them.
-
- Any help you can give, will be greatly appreciated.
