- Some time ago in this newsgroup I saw a proposal for a language extension
- that interested me. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry at the time, and did
- not note the details.

- The idea was that a class could "virtually inherit" in some way from any
- class which was a subclass of the one originally specified. The poster
- went into more detail than this, and seemed to suggest that the proposal
- made templates pretty well redundant, and also solved lots of other
- problems.
